Is a T1 enough?
#1
We just had a fiber line installed into the office. Me and the IT guy were thinking about running a CS server, hardware is not an issue we have a couple of dual xeon boxes to use. Is a T1 line good enough for a server and how many players can a guy run on it?

if its a fiber line, its probably much faster -- unless they are rate-limiting you to 1.5mbps or something.

It's a dedicated fiber line.

Then you likely have much more bandwidth than a T1 will provide.

Correct, but a T1 is copper, he stated he has a fiber connection. This is not a T1.
