hldsupdatetool.bin does not install. Just gives me the agreement.

Hi everyone.

I've been trying to fix this for a day. Searched all of the internet.

I'm running Damn Small Linux. I've been following the srcds tutorial and I can get hldsupdatetool.bin running fine, it gives me the steam user agreement, i type yes. enter.

Then, nothing.

It does not install /steam or anything.

Anyone know any causes and/or solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you have uncompress installed?

you can also apparently try
ln -s /usr/bin/gunzip /usr/bin/uncompress
according to http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/1139

I don't even have gunzip installed O___O.
Could this be a cause?

I'm really, really sorry for un-digging this thread, but after whole day i don't know what to do. I've got same problem, after typing "yes" nothing happens.
I've got gunzip/uncompress.
