WHY MY SERVER LAGGS??

Hey guys. That how my server laggs: If I play with some body 1 on 1 sow it going very nice , but if 3-th person come PING will be sow big 500 and more. Can some body help me.....?

i have same problem found this due to broadband uplaod speeds! how fast is your upload? i have 300k upload and can play with a max of 8 players otherwise pings go really high, if you have got fast connection (this is not download speed but UPLOAD speed ) than your better off waiting to hear from a more experienced person. if oyu do have fast connection it might be down to your server.cfg file, there is lots of posts on hoe to set it on this forum, try srcds general section

If you mean 864Kbit down and 128Kbit up, you can only run like 4 people with minor lag.

I would tend to think it is the other way around. Go to the following link and under tolls and tests run Speed Tests. This will clearly give you your upload and download speeds.

no matter if you turn it around like 864Kbit down and 128Kbit up, you are limited to the lowest value. in this case it's the 128 value.

devide that by 10 = 12.8

no wonder you lag with more then 2 people or more.
