No srcds_run

When I install garrysmod by following the linux tutorial on http://www.srcds.com it completes perfectly with no errors. But it completes without installing srcds_run. I've tried reinstalling it twice now and it still won't install the files.

garrysmod does not support linux, ie no linux binaries.

You need to use wine or cedega to run gmod on linux

so did I.

They don't have any linux binaries for the linux dedicated server, you need to use wine or cadega to run srcds.exe on linux for gmod.

Hmm. Okay.

Well, I don't have the srcds.exe file either.

I guess i'll just wait till garry decides to provide linux support.

Thanks!

if you run the update on linux, I don't think it downloads the exe either. Smile

And i wouldn't hold my breath for linux support from them, I don't even think its on their list.
