Hello forum guests and members,
The idea has been there for a while, to make an eBook covering as many topics about the SRCDS as possible including information on bandwidth usage, CPU, many other resources and tutorials/guides/manuals on how to install your favorite plugin or mod.
Up until now I haven't had much time since I wrote the first complete guide on the SRCDS for Planet Half-Life which has been the #1 search result on google for the past 1,5 year.
This guide will be included in the eBook, only completely updated to the current possibilities and actual up to date information.
Of course the eBook will not be limited to just this article I wrote, there will be many more including but not limited to my Mani Admin Plugin tutorial on these forums which has been viewed almost 15.000 times the past 7 months and still serving more than 80 hits per day.
Now this is a big project and I'm just getting started, I will approach other tutorial writers and very knowledgeable people in the future for assistance in making this eBook to serve the community with a document made by professionals.
Everyone assisting in this will get his name mentioned and his work praised. As of now I'm not yet sure how I will license this, updates will follow.
Any idea's and suggestions are more than welcome, if you have specific things you always wanted to know and you feel it needs some attention please reply telling what you'd like to see. I've been in this too long to see what is easy and what is not for other people, hence the feedback is needed.
