As of currently, a majority of the admin community (on the Valve listserv) are not supporting the game.

As far as we know, there is NO server.cfg. The only customization is the motd.txt.

the demo files came with alot of cfg files, you should take a look at those.

This is all you need for the demo server, because its only co-op mode.
You can't add servers to the steam server browser favourites yet, and they dont show up under that filter on the internet tab.

Clients connect with 'connect <ip:port>' in console, and if the server has a password, a dialog box pops up.

my server.cfg:
Code:
hostname "Album's L4D"
sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0
rcon_password "god"
sv_password "luser"
z_difficulty hard

putting an sv_password is cruel, since the lobby system will choose your server, but then no one can connect to it.

yup, not very good hehe Smile, and for the server.cfg, just place it in the cfg folder and you should be good to go Wink and thats pretty much it, and sishgupta's config is more then enough for this game so far since there isn't many mods enabled yet Smile do not password the server, its not good Smile hehe
