Don't put in an IP line.
Make sure you disable any firewalls.
Are you playing the game on the same box?

Thats the problem.
You need a DEDICATED box for a DEDICATED server Smile

If they are on the same computer, not necessarily.
The game uses the same port so the server can not take a port being used by the game.

-port 27030
However, even if the server runs, you might not be able to connect or others might not be able to. There are a lot of issues running off the same box.

All no-ip.com does is assign a DSN to your IP address.
Also, make sure you don't have an -ip line in your startup.

This is my command line now
C:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_dust2 -port 27030 -maxplayers 16 -autoupdate

is this correct?
