Will there be a difference with more CPU power?

Currently I have a 733Mhz P3 and 512Mb (PC133) memory.
I run a 10 slot server that only goes up to 60 Tick.

I have another old 1Ghz P3 system laying around. (It's a lot bigger so I didn't decide to use it)
Do you think I could increase the tickrate if I ran my server on the 1Ghz machine?

I changed sv_maxrate to 30000 and the server runs great now ^^
