Hey dudes,
I went through a 1000FPS kernel recompile guide and it all went fine, but when I jump on the server whether there's 1 player or 10 the fps in rcon stats stays at 333fps (up and down a few frames but not much).
Where did I go wrong?
Thanks

you can also stick it in the server cfg, or change it with rcon... doesn't have to be a command line var.
I like using it to see if higher server fps really matters.
rcon fps_max 33
66
100
150
200
250
300
350
400
500
600
700
800
900

Kinda fun to see which ones make a difference in-game, and which don't.

Yep, Fedora 8 64
Then that is why. Ppl have that problem with 64bit.
Don't know if there is a solution to it, or even if it is a real problem...

I haven't ran into too many issues on 64 bit systems, I've seen them do 1000 FPS without issue as well.
Perhaps take another look at your kernel build.

I have 64bit cent and I have no problems achieving 1000fps I would also go with vigor in saying to check the kernel build. Did you reboot your server after you compiled?? alot of new users do that not knowing there still running on there old kernel.
