Nub questions about dedicated team fortress server
#1
Ok I have setup a dedicated linux(ubuntu server) team fortress 2 server. I am new to the whole process of setting up a game server as well as to linux. The problem I am having is that the server.cfg file is missing(this is normal i believe) and I do not know how to insert or create this file in linux. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. - Remember that I am nub to linux so if you help me please don't let any small details out of the instructions.

if you have nano, that is one of the easier editors to use . . . in the cfg directory type 'nano server.cfg'. if you need power and are into masochism, try the vim editor.
