TF 2 Server Suse Linux64 11 doesnt start

I installed tf2 via ./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir /home/jwm/srcds
at this point no problems...

I started the server via ./srcds_run -game "tf" -maxplayers 12
Auto detecting CPU
Using AMD-Opteron (64 bit) Optimised binary.
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.

Console initialized.
Game.dll loaded for "Team Fortress"
Particles: Missing 'particles/error.pcf'
maxplayers set to 24
Unknown command "startupmenu"
Network: IP 88.198.22.234, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27016 SV / 27006 CL

and then nothing.... the server is not reachable and no console commands where accept. Pls help, what is wrong?

Problem ist fixed... ...the server cant work without a map...

of course it can't work without a map. How would it know what to load? So add a +map mapname to the parameters, or config
