Run a Source Dedicate Server

liglag Wrote:Hi Skinny

(assuming you are on the same network as the server.)

Are you tring to access your server via it's lan address or wan address?

You will find that you will be unable to access the server using the WAN address if you are on the same network as the server.

You will be able to access it's internal address and everybody else will be able to access it's external address.

Hope that helps some.

Darren
I dont realy no what WAN address Smile. But I know that I`m using not lan addresse.

Get someone else to check if you are online.

You will only able to access the server from you LAN address. It seems to be a fault with steam.

WAN means external address.

Don't keep the command line +ip or -ip in there b/c that causes the udp port error.

Question for you. If you do not put the IP in the command line where? do you tell which IP to use if you have multiple IP's on your dedicated machine.
