Weird laggy behaviour after couple of days uptime.

Hey..

I usually don't run my server for that long, i usually shut it down doing night which is no big deal.. But sometimes im not home and i let it run constantly.

The server is running 33Tick at 10 players because i dont think my bandw can handle more (1mbit upload).

Today when i came home i joined the server and everyone had this weird lag which looked like everything was shaking when u looked around.. I went to the server and closed SRCDS and started it again and then everything ran perfect..

What is causing this?

srcds has a memory leak. Thats what it sounds like you were experiencing. A simple map change, even to the same one, resets it.

Oh okay, so theres so way to fix it? And its just something that happens once in a while?

Yeah there is no way to fix it other than just changing the map.

Changing map does not resolve the leak. The srcds process must be shutdown and started again.
