Need help with fixing server
#1
I have been trying to create a server (on gmod) and so far the server will start up but nobody can join. I have correctly forwarded my ports and i think the problem is with my server. I have took a screen dump of the following server text:

If nobody can see a problem with my server is there anything someone could suggest to fix this? because it just says that the player lost connection while trying to join

Do you have the latest firmware on your router? by the look of the screen shot you don't. try putting the latest firmware on your router/modem

by any chance would you know where to find it??
because i have tried updating before and my modem died
Also, i have hosted games on warcraft 3 without any troubles i just needed to forward a port so I'm not sure if updating my router (and most likely breaking it) will fix the problem

You don't have all the ports forwarded. Find the list of all the needed ports.

No offense, but we can't fix everything. We're trying our best but it takes time. We're all just "chillaxed" volunteers here. Smile

If people can join WCIII, hosting should theoretically work for the server....

However, do a firmware update Smile

all right i will try a firmware upgrade but at the risk of damaging it (its the kind of model that can be easily damaged)
EDIT:
okay well i tried updating the firmware but my router just said "cant connect to server"

You can't do a manual update? As in download the update and then upload it to the router?
