FPS BOOSTER - SPIKE LAGGS

i got MUUUUCH lagg on my server and..

and i think it might could bhe the FPS because it keeps around 64 all the time and thats low.. so if i could run FPS booster or something it would may help.


but how do i run FPS booster?

Best to use the stand alone program for the FPS booster.

download the fpsbooster here, http://forums.srcds.com/attachment.php?aid=242 then extract it to your desktop, and open the srcdsfpsbooster and keep it running.

its just better for overall performance. also the stand alone fpsbooster program applies to all the servers you put on the box. the mod just does that one server. . .

It applies to ALL servers.

All these boosters/standalone programs do is initialise the multimedia timer. This is within the OS level, not application level and is system wide.

I dont think you will see any difference running a stand alone booster - something else is causing the lag. What are your server/bandwidth specs?

Theres a fps booster built into windows media player. Open windows media player idle it in the background, and launch srcds.....Should boost to about 500 fps.
