I've looked up a bunch of guides but nothing is telling me how to SUCCESSFULLY take my server from the LAN tab to the Internet tab. I don't know how to make my server use my "external ip" but I can obviously connect to myself. Can anybody help me?

It will always shop on your LAN. Other should be able to see it on internet.

Yeah I read that it will always show on lan but I tried a lot of things to make it show up on the internet tab and I couldn't do it. My friends couldn't join either.

If ou want to make your server external , you have to place -ip your.external.ip in the arguments while starting.. Make sure you have your firewall open the ports so that external people could see.
