I'd run this whit sys_ticrate 1000 and fps_max 101

Is it possible to "boost" cpu usage so its runne 500 og 1000fps stabile?

I've seen it done before where it shows 99 cpu usage and 1000 fps stable. I think it's done on FreeBSD though.

No... I have never set it up myself. But I have seen it setup on FreeBSD where the CPU usage is 99 and FPS is solid 999 (in CS 1.6, and 995 in CS:S I believe).

Anyway, I myself have only worked with CentOS 5.2 so I do not know how to set that up.

Hey,

I find out something. To get a 1000fps server.

First. cd

And then cd /boot

And find your system boot file (mine: config-2.6.24-16-server)

And then you change the line in the file: # CONFIG_HZ_1000 is not set

into: CONFIG_HZ_1000=y
CONFIG_HZ=1000

And wholla you got a 1000fps server (1,6)

This is for 1.6 change to 1500 if source.

And after make sure to reboot your machine
