Script to auto restart server at set time of day

Hello,

Well im not very good at making scrips for anything game related but willing to give it a shot. Could you guys explain how to have SRCDS exec a .cfg at a certain time of day (midnight to be exact ) and what commands that need to be used in the config for like a 30 seconds after I have the server say "Server set to restart in 30 seconds, please rejoin shortly"?

I know BeetlesMod can do that. I would guess the other major admin mods can do it too.

Well, you can use mattie's eventscripts. I use this script called cron_jobs to restart a zombiemod server everyday at 2:00 a.m.

Here's the script btw if you decide to use eventscripts.

Mani admin plugin can do that. Take a look at the crontablist.txt in the cfg/mani_admin_plugin folder.

Sorry I should have tryed to search before I posted, ill keep that in mind for next time. Ill take a look at the eventscript and bettlesmod. I have metamod and mani already on it so maybe ill take a look at the text file you said eirlier.

Hmm I cant seem to get the crontablist to do anything.

"" "10:00-10:05" exec Auto_restart.cfg <-- is how I have it set now but it dont execute. can someone shed some light as to how I can get it to work?

What's in Auto_restart.cfg?
Are you sure it's .cfg and not .cfg.txt ?

  auto_restart.txt (Size: 2.46 KB / Downloads: 26) Yes im shure its a .cfg(gone down that road before trying to find out why it wont save as a .cfg). Its a config I made to count down from 5 minutes to the last 30 seconds before the quit command .

Here I uploaded it for you guys if you wana edit it for your servers .

add 1234567 in front of your time between the quotes:

"1234567" "06:00" exit
