hey guys i dled metamod and put it in c:/valve/steam/steamapps/-=cdx=-/dedicatedserver/cstrike/addons and every time i click start server it just shuts off. Please help me asap Thx

metamod is for hlds (half life 1) and wont work with srcds.

also, just so you know, that would have gone in c:\hlserver\cstrike\addons if it were. (unless you moved your dedicated server from c:\hlserver to that directory..

yeah my dedicated server is under valve not hlserver, whats scrds mean?

ok, so you installed the hl1 server with cs 1.6. You installed metamod into <dedicated server path>/cstrike/addons/metamod correct? the metamod dll is in metamod/dlls you have your config called plugins.ini you edited the liblist.gam so it says

gamedll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll"
right?
