Yes, you need to have +fps_max 600 in command line as well as a the Windows Timers changed. Good Luck!

Don't use Windows Media Player though, there is a srcdsfpsbooster.exe somewhere around these forums. Just download that, set -fps_max 600, and you should get 512 FPS (the most really possible in windows 2003).

Yes use srcdsfpsbooster.exe (we use our custom one) and you should be able to get a very stable 512 fps. Good Luck!
