How many Slots can I hold with an Upload of 650Kb/s, CS:S 66 Tick, without lag?

if you are using a ISP for domestic use, there is no guarentee 1st off taht you will always have that down your pipe line based on contension ratio.

64 slot bf2 servers, require 8 meg no that is streamed at that, an dthat is a true connection also.

css is less demanding in many proficiencies. i would personally say maximum 40, and that is providing that you do have that connection.

it can go higher but i chose this number due to having a safe ping stability.

Dont be stupid. You'll get around 8 CSS slots on that connection.

What if it was a 33 tick server?

I am pretty sure they were talking about 33 tickrate slots . As a guide the average speeds are:
33 tick- 40kb/s
66 tick- 96kb/s
100 tick- 144kb/s

Also on a side note, I think even 8 or 9 slots would be pushing it.

I don't think they were, I'm running a 66 Tick server 6 slots now, no lag.
