Outputting Console to Log Files [SOLVED]
#1
I'm trying to output the entire console output to file but I can't seem to find any options to do this.

I've searched the forum and there is lots about general logging, which I have enabled, but I need to specifically see the console output.

The reason being when my server crashes the console is closed down and no log files exist, therefore it makes it extremely difficult to determine what caused the crash.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Spunky

There are some things that are simply not logged by SRCDS. For example, update "love notes" aren't logged.

Please do not PM me for server related help

Fair enough, but it would be nice to output whatever I can from console.

I used to rent a server from Gameservers and they had a GSconsole.log which was very useful for debugging purposes as it had most of the console output. I've no idea if that's a custom plugin they've built or an SRCDS option.

If anyone can point me to something similar for Windows I'd be grateful.
