ok so i created a subdomain called css.XXX.net then i setup a redirect on it to xx.xx.xx.xx:27015 but it doesnt seem to be working. what am i doing wrong?

Edit - also do you have to own the server? or can you make a subdomain from a rented server

Re-direct it to just the IP, NOT the port.

ok on my main site it wont work and i think its because i use cpanel to manage that site. But i have another domain and i made it work it works great thanks guys.
