Mics arn't working Proberly On My Server! (TF2)

Ok, I have asked this two times on different sites but not going to say the names and no one replied or offered to help me out. So I am going to ask here hoping to get a better response.

So here is the issue in more detail.

OK, when the server starts or when the map loads up after a minute everyone can hear each other fine then all the sudden the server randomly cuts off people in TF2. I am not sure if it's everyone at once, but it seems it makes the player looks like he is tapping on the talk button.

I haven't had this problem before when I got my server running but when trying to install the beetles mod my server was crashing so I reinstalled my server and installed the Beetles mod correctly and everything seemed to work perfectly. Got vote kicks map voting and radio and all that jazz going, but now the microphone system on my server is messing up.

So I have been pulling my hair out of this one so all my friends can use their mics with out worry s of them being cut off.

i dont know much about tf2 but since it runs on the same engine as cs:s i would assume it a server configuration problem please post your server config and ill see if i see anything odd in it

Just a quick note - you should probably delete the "beetlesmod" and "materials" folder from your sv_downloadurl location. In addition, you may want to create a .htaccess file to remove the directory listing (right now anyone can browse your maps directory, etc.).

anyway... back to the original question.

you might try messing with sv_voicecodec. check out this page about voice compression:

a glitch may be stopping your server from activating voice. since you're using beetlesmod, see this thread:
