SRCDS Steam group


Some players can't connect to TF2 server.

Hello all.

I am from Israel, so my english is not high.

I have server of TF2, and some players can't connecting to my servers.
They tried to connect and they get this message "Connection failed after 4 retries"

:\ Please help me, my friends can't join to the server, and another players can to connect :\.

What's can to be the problem?

and 1 more question, when i running the server i have "Master Server ip... master server ip"
What is it? and maybe its the cause to the problem?

*All this players can't connect to my server, they can't join to all the servers with the same (i have 3 server on same box and ip, so they can't connect to this servers).

Well first, I would recommend that you check to make sure that each of the servers are running on different ports! That would greatly affect the client's ability to connect to and play on your servers... Next, make sure that you have the proper ports forwarded those would be as follows:

UDP 1200 (used for friends service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27050 inclusive
UDP: 27015 and 27020 (default HLDS, SRCDS and HLTV port)
TCP: 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

this is the ip's to the servers.
and they checked, and all this ports is allowed on the router.

so its not help :\ thanks anyway.
