Server not showing up - ports are open!
#1
Hi guys,

I've setup a CSS server successfully but I can't see it from the internet.

I've asked the host to open these ports for me:

[UDP] 1200
[UDP] 27000 to 27015
[UDP] 27015 and 27020

[TCP] 27030 to 27039
[TCP] 27015

And they tell me they have done so, but I still can't connect or see it from the internet.

I am using this website to check - http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/

When I enter the server's IP (83.244.152.223) it shows that port 27015 is open, but not the others that I requested. They have said that the ports are open and that they have tested them, but their firewall often doesn't show up properly with websites like that.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Is that all it can be then?

Are they lying about them being open?

Maybe they are mistaken? What's its IP?

You are forwarding port 27015 THREE times. That will confuse your router. Fix it so you only have 2715 forwarded once.

I would have thought the support team could have worked that one out. I'll get them to check though. I did just ask for the whole range to be opened/forwarded.

Is there anything else it can be, or are ports just the issue here?

Could be a firewall issue.
