SRCDS Steam group


Nobody can spawn in my server!

I have a 12 player tf2 server, running the srcds, and yesterday I installed beetlesmod, And restarted the server, and then no one could spawn! It was just stuck at the map screen. I uninstalled beetlesmod, and still the same thing happened! I'm going crazy, because I don't want to start overToungue . I have mani and sourcemod. My IP is homicide.servegame.com

If you need more info just tell me. I really need help with this problem can someone please help me? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

By the way here is a screenshot. It just stays at this screen forever.

You can change classes and teams, but it just stays at that screen.

There is a ton of crap in the server.cfg but nothing that I think will break it...

try running it without the server.cfg? That way everything will just default... if that doesn't work.. rename your addons folder and restart the server to see if its a plugin doing it.. after that.. run the update tool with -verify_all .

I am not too familiar with tf2, but thats the steps I would take. So you can at least narrow it down to being the server.cfg file, a plugin, or corrupt system file.

Alright thanks i'll try that!



EDIT: Ok I tried running it without the server.cfg, and it worked! Now I have to try taking out one of those cvars in thebottom, one by one, until I see which one did it. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS! (AND GALS)

Ughh, I tried running it with an original server.cfg, and it didn't work.

Sorry for the bump again, please don't ban me, but My server won't let anyone spawn if I even have the server.cfg!

If I even put a regular unedited server.cfg it still doesn't let anyone spawn!

When I delete it or move it to another place it lets everyone spawn, but I cant change anything related to the server!

OHH what am I to do i'm going crazy!Sad

Try verify_all in the hldsupdate tool.

I did try verify_all, and it updated some stuff, and went to a hundred percent, then i tried using the server.cfg from that tutorial, but it still didn't work. Sad

DON'T use that cfg, It has issues. Try this cfg, it's my own slightly modified.
