I searched around and didn't see any threads for this so forgive me if I'm in the wrong place.
I'm attempting to run a tf2 server (following the given guide from here)
and after startup the server crashes with the error that it can't allocate an ip port for hltv.
This is from a base install. I have a css and 2 dods servers working correctly (multiple nics)...I've tried stopping all those servers to see if tf2 would work all by itself...same problem. Port forwarding is definitely not the problem. I thought hltv doesn't even come with basic dedicated server install. Isn't sourcetv the built-in tv function? Is there some tv settings that I need to apply that I'm unaware of? I don't have any tv settings enabled so I'm not sure why hltv is conflicting...especially since I don't have it.
I'm running: windows server 2003..dual xeons..8 gb ram
Thanks =)
