Is Sourcemm restarting my server?
#1
I guess this has got to do with sourcemm, as ever since I installed zombiemod, everytime I try to quit my server it gets restarted. It does this when I try to unload the zm plugin as well.

Code:
quit
L 04/18/2008 - 17:48:32: [META] Loaded 0 plugins from file (2 already loaded)
L 04/18/2008 - 17:48:32: server_message: "quit"
L 04/18/2008 - 17:48:32: Log file closed
L 04/18/2008 - 17:48:32: server_message: "restart"
[ZOMBIE] Free For All has been disabled.
./srcds_run: line 344: 2681 Segmentation fault $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

When I unload the zm plugin:

Code:
meta unload 1
[ZOMBIE] Free For All has been disabled.
Plugin 1 unloaded.
./srcds_run: line 344: 2695 Segmentation fault $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem

I can still stop the server by killing the screen instance that it is running in, so it is not really a problem.

if you have autoupdate in your command line it will autorestart.

well, it should restart on crash, but it seems that for me it crashes whenever i try to quit the server so it is impossible to turn it off.

if you have autoupdate restarting the server the only way i know to kill the server is either through ssh or via rcon killserver but this doesnt kill srcds_run instance it just doesnt broadcast anymore. it just sits there

I'm talking about Debian SSH and the code quotes are from the SSH console, I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear.

in that case killing the screen or the process is the only way to stop srcds.

that or use a control script that you can find elsewhere on these forums
