yeh I was hooked up directly to modem so now im back on the router and see how well this goes

Ok soo I hook the router up after turning off private lan on my modem and turn my modem into a bridge ports no longer port forward correctly and I lose internet about 10 mins after the change :{

FINAL RESULT: Im getting a new isp soon maybe within the next month...thats when my current contract with verizon ends....I call tech support today and sat on the phone for about 2 hours going around doing the same crap to get no working results for some very gay reason I cannot port forward threw my router nor my modem..... HELL TO VERIZON! how well and how many people do you think I can host on my server with a 2mb upload rate and at 100tic

yeh it worked when I was hooked up to the modem and after I set it up as a bridge and port forward some things.... I shouldn't have to do that straight up to the modem.....Its more hell when I am behind a router since my routers port forwarding doesn't work nor does my modems when my router is hooked up its fuking mayhem and I hate verizon! I also called verizons tech support and he said he has never heard of anything like that so that was 2 hours wasted..Then I called Motorola tech support waited in queue for about 45 mins for them to tell me they dont do tech support for my router and that I need to email some people on a forum.....So when I get my new ISP cox cable which most of my friends have I will be able from there to port forward threw my router and then SUCCESS to my homes dedicated css server ..I cant believe I spent so many hours getting mad over this not working when it was my crappy modem this whole time.... :{ :{ :{ D:
