How many CS:S server on that config ?

Hi all,

I'm going to rent a dédicated server with a Debian sarge install.

Celeron 2,6 GHz
1 GB DDR
40 GB space disk
10 Mbps

Do you think 4 CS:S servers 16 slots will run nice ?
Less ? More ? How much without having lag ?
I'll only run CS:S servers, maybe one ftp server but that's not a problem.

start with 4 server, if all ruing good, just add 1 server @ the time and monitor them how they will do.
i recomand u add more ram if u can.

Another question: is there a big perf difference between a 14 slots and a 16 slots ?
Is there a way to calculate max CS:S servers that can be run on a dedicated server ? Or did you say "4 servers will run fine" because you tried that on a same machine ?

and all running sweet

i dont know about Celeron id its any good for game server
u need try your self

about calculation slots to to power of server i dont know
