Problems getting server to the public
#1
Ok, im trying to run this server at my home.
Wich is located behind a router. D-link 604
Now as I installed everything perfect, the game is visable @ lan games.
Now I start my server with this:
c:\srcds\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike +map de_dust -maxplayers 16 -ip 192.168.0.154 -port 27015

It starts up correct...
Now I cant let people join my game, I gave them my Public IP with the standard port.
Nobody can connect.

My router settings are:

Am I missing some ports?
If yes, where do I have to add them?

I also tried DMZ, but didnt worked

remove -ip from your start up.
But it's probably your router.

Please do not PM me for server related help

well this is a coincidence.
I have a very similar router that you have. When I tried running a game server off my home network, it didn't work...
So I pondered a bit, then took my friend's router. *yoink*
It worked fine...
hmm
Long story shot, I updated my firmware on my router, everything worked xD.
Instead of using tcp and udp (u really need udp, tcp will be for rcon)
use the both option.
make sure you upgrade your firmware, if you don't know how to do that part, I suggest calling the D-link help line. They'll help you out.
hope all works out for you.
