does the user the game is running under have the permissions to read/write to the log file?

maybe try chown the directory with the user for srcds (command will need to be done from administrative user)

chown <user> <target dir>

Are you using Mani-Admin?

Hi I'm operating this server now.

We're still having the same problem and yes we are using mani-admin, so "rcon writeid" isn't done by our admins after a ban.

Is there a way that "writeid" can be executed at the end of the map? as it seems if it is executed at the beginning of the map a blank file is written to banned_user.cfg.

Thanks for any help
