Others connecting to my SRCDS
#1
Hi, I have set up my SRCDS and it works fine.
I use the GUI steam application to run it as I am not as good with the console.
I have even installed mani admin plugin and I just want to host a server for 1-8 people.

I can join my server but my friends can't.
I have forwarded all the ports necessary on my router (2WIRE 2700HG-E)
however I still come up with this problem.
Just incase it matters My brother uses his computer to connect the the router aswell as my xbox 360 console.

Please help. (and dont send me links to the other help topics explaining what to do because I have already tried everything)

Thanks

-Matt

1) Open up a command line and type in "ipconfig" and post your IP
2) Post a screen shot of your port forwarding page

Also, are you friend using your external IP?
Do you have sv_lan set to 0?

Ok here is my "ipconfig /all" page
my TCP/IP page
and my port page (CSCOM)

Is this enough to make my server work? (I have windows XP btw)

That port forwarding is odd... It doesn't let you choose which IP the ports are forwarded to....

well when I make the port I include the different ports as definitions right?
not all different things?
Notice that CSCOM has all the ports in one thing but like Utor1 has 1?
I could make all ports on a different thing if thats whats necessary.

Update

I changed back to a dynamic IP and enable the option that opens all ports public.

So then I ran my server and it came up on the internet tap with my external IP

But the server doesn't respond Sad

Also this was the server IP even though it didn't respond.
216.232.201.19:62377
WHERE THE FUCK DID 62377 COME FROM!?

I started with the port 27015
so now I am going to try my linksys router...
So I'll try that.
