Get the server online?
#1
Hello,

I have created a server with Mani Admin Plugin. But when I launch the server, I click on "Sever" in Steam, and click on "LAN" then my server comes up, so why can't I get it online?

Using Windows XP Professional Edition SP2

IPConfig IP: 192.168.1.105

And the launch sentence is like this:
C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -tickrate 33 -ip 192.168.1.105 -port 27015 -maxplayers 10 +map aim_ag_texture2

Can anyone help me out with how I get my server online?

I used the program and downloaded from http://www.portforward.com/
And forwarded some ports.
So yes, I have done that.

It will ALWAYS show up on LAN if you are on it's network, even if it is online.

Yes I know, but even my friends can't join, but I might have to log in too my router manualy and open the ports there.

Well what your doing it is giving it a Local IP or LAN ip instead of your actual ip. You can find that out at like whatsmyip.com or something.

Yes, I done that to, I added my external IP to the:
C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe C:\SRCDS\srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -tickrate 33 -ip 84.48.34.136 -port 27015 -maxplayers 10 +map aim_ag_texture2

When I done that, the ERROR comes that it is WRONG IP in the SRCDS Console, but I think I figuered the problem now, because I wroted wrond Router Username, and then I could not forward any ports.

Don't add your external IP to your boot-up line

You put internal IP on the command line and give out the external one.

Yes, but when I try to add the external IP to Favourites I don't find any server, but when I add the internal IP to Favourites I find it.

I just checked your screen shot and found your problem.
You have the same ports forwarded to TWO computers. You can't do that.

Only forward the ports to one computer. If you want 2 boxes, you'll to forward different ports to each.
