Thinking about setting up a small TF2 server for clan practice.. I was running it on my beast of a PC but SRCDS isn't a great fan of vista and crashes during the custom maps.
So I'm thinking about building a small linux box, just for running SRCDS on.
The parts I have lying about the house are a 1ghz Celeron (256k cache), a socket 370 motherboard, 128mb ram, and a 10gb hard drive (might be able to find a bigger one somewhere)..
Ok, stop laughing.
Seriously though, are those specs way too low? Am I dreaming here? What the minimum spec you'd need to run SRCDS on linux to host TF2 with max of about 16 players?
Thanks!
