mani admin plugin 1.2 will crash your server , delete gametypes.txt in cstrike/cfg/admin_plugin and your server will not crash.

I let steam download the srcds again, so I had a original version. The I installed the metamod:source with the installer. After that I downloaded the new version of the mani admin plugin from their homepage. I put all in the right folders and after that I launch the srcds. There first i wrote "meta" in my console and this mod seems to work. After that I wrote "meta load addons/mani_admin_plugin/bin/mani_admin_plugin_mm and the console says
Mani Admin Plugin loaded with id 1.
And then I exec the mani_server.cfg which seems to work, too
BUT:^^
plugin_print say Loaded Plugins:

---------------------

so no plugin is loaded?!?!?!
and when I connect to the Server with my normal computer, the server Crashes like above when my clien send the client infos.

I hope anyone can help me

PS: If I create the vdf file, my the server crashes immediately with the same error and don't even start.

i had the same problem with the newest version, i had to download an older version like 1.2o which can be downloaded from here http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/mani_admin_plugin/v1_2_beta_o/

if this helps let me know...

also i noticed when i run zombiemod and i run a cfg file created to switch my stuff to surf settings and maps and its supposed to disable zombiemod, it crashes my server with that error, unless i disable it first by putting meta unload zombie_mm, then run my config file, its strange.

maybe something wrong with that mod or the version i have... idk

Just to add my two cents to this, I am having the same issue, except on a Day of Defeat Source server. I have mani, eventscripts and eventscripts tools installed on the server. Whenever someone throws an american hand grenade, the server crashes. It is only with that one weapon. Everything else works fine, but when an american throws a hand grenade, i get that "memory could not be read" error as well.

ok I tried your tipps with the following results:
Without the gameinfo.txt and with the older version the same results:
The Server doesn't crash when I'm joining and ingame I can do everything, but when I leave it crashes again

-try deleting all files in steamapps/ur account/dedicated server then load it again from steam and reinstall mods.
you dont need delete gametypes.txt on 1.1 or 1.2o
...i had problems with 1.2s it crashes server when used ma_ commands

same thing happens to me on SRCDS with Half Life 2 Multi Player

when someone tries to pick something up with the gravity gun...

What do you mean since you are using the vdf file? I would like to fix my problem too, so any information you could give me about how you fixed it would be appreciated.

I used the metamod for launching Mani admin plugin and this made problems. So I used the VDF-Creator and started the server. And then it works...:Smile

k, thanks for the help. I actually just solved my problem as well, by running hldsupdatetool with the verify_all switch.
