TF2 Server problem
#1
Hey guys I'm trying to get a TF2 server up and running for an upcoming LAN (lol it's friday) and I've installed srcds and I've got CS:S working with it but TF2 keeps throwing me an error when I run

Code:
./srcds_run -console -debug -game tf  +maxplayers 24 +map ctf_2fort

I get this error:

Code:
Auto detecting CPU
Using SSE2 Optimised binary.
Enabling debug mode
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.

Console initialized.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

warning: Can't read pathname for load map: Input/output error.
email debug.log to linux@valvesoftware.com

Thu Jan 31 18:47:50 EST 2008: Server Quit

Thanks in advance for the help.

are the permissions for the all directories in the server accessible for those who need to access them? mainly the maps directory?
"warning: Can't read pathname for load map: Input/output error."
it seems like it cant get into the maps folder.

That does make a difference. + means after the server is started, so it would be 32 by default then switch to 24.

24 is the max for a TF2 server, not 32 Wink

Please do not PM me for server related help
