server not responding

I know there are alot of these posts on the forum and each time i follow those guidelines i end up in the gutter to ,

sv_lan's on 0 sv_region's on 3 (for europe) sv_internet's on 1

i forwarded the ports correctly

my external ip is according to all site 81.165.18.134:27015

AND STILL i am the only one that can connect to my server and evryone else gets not responding not even getting the server name , the server isnt showing up on gamemonitor either ..

IM JUST TOTALY STUCK

The tutorial is what I use to set my server up.. Also make sure your firewall is wide open ; )
I hope it helps you..




PS. Dont know if you have made to your ip:
I had to set IP too static..

so far the tutorial has been no help , im totaly sure my ports are set right ect ect ,
i THINK im sure that im giving out the right ip , the guide says there should be something under internet after you do the IPconfig command in cmd but i only have stuff under lan so i cant be sure ..

Have you verified that the ports are really open and accessible from the internet?

See RE: Tried everything Have no idea whats wrong.

That has instructions for testing port 27030. If it passes, test you other TCP ports (I don't have a UDP test handy).

Hmmm , in your server cfg. what is your lan set too. sv_lan 0 or sv_lan 1

Is sv_internet a valid configuration? I don't see it on any cvar list.

Never heard of it personally. However if it's not a cvar, it just wont be read and will show an error in the logs when it tries to exec it. It's not a problem.

Nope pretty sure sv_internet isnt a cvar, just sv_lan 0 or 1

NOT JUST ONE OF THE BEST. IT IS THE BEST THERE IS!!! PROMISE! i did a lot of looking a messign up before i found that one. got me a lot further then all the rest. but im still stuck at my own fualt not the tutorial. I am stuck at the piont that no one else can see my shizzle just lan can see it. i have done some much pot fowarding im sick of it already and i have a router so i have to do twice the fowarding. HOWEVER THAT SITE DOES THE TRICK.Big Grin
