Most routers have wireless and ethernet ports. You can plug in ethernet into the back of it and your parents can get wireless.

Hmmm I have an Actiontec MI-424-WR and it works like a dream. I dont see why any router wouldnt work with a MAC but I am no expert.

OK im thinking about getting this baby. 1000 reviews, the overall rating is 5 stars and 85% of ppl rated it 5 star. People said it had great speed and reception, and it also comes with the 4 ehternet outputs i need.

For $65 is that reasonable?

It should work on macs. I just may need to add the different networks to the comps and it should work.

That should be fine. Linksys are owned by Cisco, so should be no problems there.

Yeah Linksys is owned by Cisco but people have had problems with them before with SRCDS, myself included. Cisco is a great company, but Linksys routers are bad imo.

What do you mean by "problems"?

It would not allow srcds to go to the internet even if it was DMZed or Ports forwarded. Course that was one router only. This could be an entirely different one.

No I returned it. Sorry :/. I had to pay money to return it and say it was broken (shhh Toungue) but it was worth getting a different router, at least for me.
