server on FTP?

Hello,

I found a free webhosting(5GB storage space so theres room for the server files) service and i want to run my srcds server off it.. i just want to know if that is possible and if there would be lag... because im running it on my computer and it really slow.. and i thot about it.. if u buy a server they run it off an ftp so id think this would work too..

nope, won't work steam uses a bunch of ports and ftp uses just 1 or 2, second the ftp they run is so that you can upload files not run the server itself.

Web hosting is just FILES.
For srcds you need to be able to actually control the computer.
You wont find ANY free game hosts.
