Multiple SRCDS servers and VAC problem
#1
Question
Hi guys.

I am running two instances ( two different directories) of SRCDS.

1 is used for CSS and other is used for TF2.

Have assigned and opened different hostport, clientport, tv port for both.
Both servers are up and running. I can even play from same machine ( as client ports are different). But only 1 server is VAC secured.
IP address is same.
PC directly connected to ISP. No router.
Here are the two batch files I have made to start two servers.
Code:
I:
cd srcds2
srcds.exe -console -game cstrike -tickrate 100 +port 27065 +clientport 27055 +tv_port 27077 +ip 220.226.162.222 +sv_lan 0 +maxplayers 16 +map de_dust2 -autoupdate -secure
Code:
I:
cd srcds
cd orangebox
srcds.exe -console -game tf -port 27075 +clientport 27050 +ip 220.226.162.222 +tv_port 27078 -tickrate 100 +sv_lan 0 +maxplayers 16 +map ctf_2fort -autoupdate -secure

Only the server which i start first gets VAC secured. Second one does not.
Any solutions?

I don't think you need -secure in the startup line...
try to remove that?

You dont need secure. Also in windows autoupdate doesnt work.

yeah tried with and without them.
Both games have been manually updated.
it was not working so i tried -secure. But only one of the two servers which i start is VAC secured.
is there any way to change valve master server ports?
I mean it shows a message saying
Adding master server xx.xx.xx.xx:27011
Adding master server xx.xx.xx.xx:27011

This 27011 is same for both servers and i am guessing thats what the problem is ( i could be wrong ).
Can this port be changed??

1 server shows that and says VAC secured mode enabled.
And on server which is started after 1st it just ends as adding master server.

Both are visible online, people can connect and play.

The 27011 shouldnt be the problem. Which one doesnt work? You might wanna try just loading the one server that doesnt work. If it VAC works, load up the other server (which worked before), while the other server is up. Then you can see if the ports are being used or something. If you boot up the non-working VAC one by itself and it doesnt work, its gotta be something with the game files.

both when loaded individually with other server not running get VAC secured. If I only run TF2 or Only run CSS they get VAC.

But If I run both, the one which is executed after 1st does not get VAC.

I am all the way from India. And ISP is reliance. Its a Wimax connection.
but even on my other DSL connection, same thing happens. Only 1 server gets VAC secured :S

Well this is wierd. Could ur dsl or wimax providors be blocking ports?
