im using a dlink di-713 router.. for cs 1.6 and css ded. servers, it keeps listing my ip as 192.168.0.109:27016.. how do i make it so it lists my external ip? strangely, when i enter my external ip into server browsers, it wont work, but if i enter the 192.168.x.x, it works.. and strangely, other people joined my cs 1.6 server even though the external ip is not set..
i already tried opening up ports through my router interface page.. no good..

Welcome to the wonderful world of NAT.
The truth is, if people are joining from the internet, you don't need to do anything. It's actually normal for the server to show you the internal IP if you're playing from behind the same router. Ours does too.
People from the internet will see the external IP instead. Basically the server browser is just seeing the LAN IP and using it in preference in your case, but it is the external IP that get's publised to the master server.
Don't worry about it.

I have to admit that I don't use gametiger.net so I can't help you there.
There is a +ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx command that you can put in your server.cfg. That might fix the gametiger problem for you.

Well if other people are able to join they must be able to see it in the internet lobby. Unless you have given each one the ip addy of course.
Why can't your friend see the server?
Dunno. Has he checked his filters (might be excluding empty servers etc...).
You must be being listed for other's to be able to join so if your friend can't see you it has to be a problem at his end surely??
