I'm running a dedicated server and everyone has the steamid STEAM_ID_PENDING, which is an issue because even I have that ID. I can't be an admin by using steamid's.
I have Source Meta Mod, Mani, and Dod+ installed. It's a Day of Defeat Source server.

It doesn't show up AFTER a the player joins?
I think that's normal, just it taking a while for steam to give the OK...

Right, but AFTER they join, doesn't the server figure out their steamID?

No, everyone maintains the STEAM_ID_PENDING (including me and a friend), we've played for hours and its still the same.

Not sure if this is what fixed it, but I added -ip 192.168.1.3 to the startup stuff and everyone has a steamid now...odd.

Hi,
I've got a similar issue, all players have STEAM_ID_PENDING even after the server has been runinng for at least a day. No firewall is installed and the server has a direct connection to the net. I tried appending +ip serverip onto the command line, replacing serverip with the actual server IP, but still got the problem. The only way to resolve this is to reboot the entire machine! Not a good thing when you have multiple servers. This seems to only happen with one server, the others are fine and need no +ip command to get steam IDs correctly. Server runs Win 2k3.
Any help appreciated.
