SRCDS on Ubuntu Linux -- net. cpp errors
#1
Hello there!
I just recently finished setting up my server. Everything works and it is accessible from the Internet.

However, it is not listed on game-monitor.com nor on any of my friends' server lists.

I get the following output when I start up:
Code:
Particles: Missing 'particles/error.pcf'
maxplayers set to 24
maxplayers set to 24
Unknown command "startupmenu"
Network: IP 192.168.2.105, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL
ConVarRef room_type doesn't point to an existing ConVar
exec: couldn't exec skill1.cfg
Executing dedicated server config file
net.cpp (960) : Assertion Failed: 0 == iRet && iValLen == sizeof( iVal ) && cSendBufSize <= iVal
net.cpp (968) : Assertion Failed: 0 == iRet && iValLen == sizeof( iVal ) && cRecvBufSize <= iVal
Can't use cheat command mp_forcerespawnplayers in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat command mp_forcewin in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Can't use cheat command mp_teststalemate in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
Adding master server 72.165.61.189:27011
Adding master server 69.28.151.162:27011
Using 'steambeta1:27013' CSER server!
Connection to Steam servers successful.
   VAC secure mode is activated.

I wager that the "net.cpp" errors have something to do with it.

EDIT:
Other info:
ldd (GNU libc) 2.6.1
2.6.22-14-server
Ubuntu Server Edition (7.10 Gutsy Gibbon)

It's accessible directly through the "connect" command, but it doesn't appear on any server lists.

I have seen this issue from time to time with my sever. If you remove all filters other than the gams = DOD:S and sort by name after a full refresh, you should see it.

I am not sure what the method is for posting servers on official lists, but it seems to be completely random at times as to which servers are listed.
