Host and Play On Same Machine

I CAN NOT join any sever with any game when I have the server running. If its not running i can join any server. My friends can join the server and I have hosted from in the game and that works. I will try a random port if you want me to. :/

Thats really really strange. Can you use the friends service from steam with your server running? It must have something to do with ports.

Yes I can. I tryed port 31000 for the server port. Others could join but still my problem continued. Do you guys want to see the console window?

I think i got it fixxed i looked at http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/5470 and i made a server config file that i think made it work :/ i gunna test a few things before i say for sure
