Can anyone run a TF2 DS?

With my below post im beginning to think you need to be licensed or something with Steam to run this specific applicaton (TF2 DS).
I know it sounds silly but im reaching here.. lol

I had no problem running a server.

Yah, im still having major issues.. I have even installed the hldsupdatool and the files and it starts with no problems. Seems to be an issue with my server but strangely all the other Source DS start with zero issue.
I have been working on this for days and can't figure it out. =(

You said it starts with no problems....so what's the problem exactly? Lol. Can you give some more details please?
I had a similar problem when I was adding TF2 to my game library for my GHS. I found a good guide is to keep the server.cfg as minimal as possible. Something in there was causing the server to bail, and in its current early state the debug information wasn't very useful at all so it would just throw me on my ass back into the console  So my advice is to use a very simple server.cfg. Once you've got that running, customise as desired. |
