Please I need the Source Linux dedicated files , i can;t update by hldsupdatetool , because i don;t have full internet connection , i have behind a proxy server , some body can supply me the all linux source dedicated Server ... Thanks


PD: i have the lasted release of cs:source

When a run ./srcds_run i get the following errors:

Executing dedicated server config file
ERROR: mp_dynamicpricing set to 1 but couldn't download the price list!
Error: Material "sprites/bubble" : proxy "AnimatedTexture" not found!
Section [Scenes]: 0 resources total 0 bytes, 0.00 % of limit (2.10 MB)
net.cpp (960) : Assertion Failed: 0 == iRet && iValLen == sizeof( iVal ) && cSendBufSize <= iVal
net.cpp (968) : Assertion Failed: 0 == iRet && iValLen == sizeof( iVal ) && cRecvBufSize <= iVal
couldn't exec server.cfg
Could not establish connection to Steam servers.

I hope you can help me , i try this in ubuntu 6.06 , and freebsd 6.1 , all the same thing

Create a server.cfg and stick it in the srcds cfg folder.

Ports opened? Software firewall blocking access? If your server is VAC secured, you can ignore this error - just means you can't connect to the master server list.

Also, you can't just run ./srcds_run by itself. You need to add parameters when you run it.

e.g. ./srcds_run -game cstrike +maxplayers 18 +map de_dust2 -ip blahblah -port 27015 -tickrate 100 -autoupdate

i know how config the server and how edit the server.cfg file , only that i not do anything waiting for your answer

pD: you test already the beta update ? at last fix something or not ?

For dynamicpricing (which i dont think even exists anymore?) create/add autoexec.cfg and add mp_dynamicpricing 0 to it.

The sprites/bubble error has been there for ages and is most probably caused by a missing file needed that either is meant to exist, or isnt, and its being called by accident.

The net.cpp errors have been around for a while. Not sure as to the exact cause of them, they might just be OS/kernel related. However, you can ignore these, depending on kernel and network card, they may cause problems, otherwise can be ignored.

well i execute this in 3 diferents hardwares , with 3 diferents OS , freebsd 6.1 , ubuntu 6.06 , and Debian 2.6.18.dfsg.1-12 , and it is the same thing with all

Run your server, type 'status' in console and it will give you a build number.
