I see. so maybe 60? 60 fps is what the human eye sees, plus most monitors I believe refresh at 60-85 hz

60 is really high if it is the same as UT.

30-40 is about good, in UT, I was wondering if it was different for CS:S.

The default tick rate for HL2DM is 66, for Counter-Strike: Source its
33. I would try 66 and 100. The higher the value the more CPU usage.
Extreme values (less than 33 or more than 128) may cause simulation
errors.

66 seems good for me

Add -tickrate 66 to the command line you use to launch the server.

Ok, I don't use a .bat file to launch it. I now know how and will give it a try.

If anyone could give me a command line to put into a .bat file. Just leave a [server app] where I should put the location of my server .exe file.

Thanks,
Pig

I kept trying to make a working command line with no luck. If some nice person would write one for me so I could put it in a bat file.

Game is CSS.

Thanks,
