Hmm I don't think so

What I have is
1 srcds_run -blablablaalong with 1 srcds_amd -blablabla per server.

I am running two servers, so I have two of each.

Obviously, if you are not using an AMD CPU then you will not be running srcds_amd but instead srcds_i686 - depending on the CPU.

I noticed that you are running all your servers as root. Please do not run your servers as root.
Create a seperate user account to run the servers.

Only time i've seen more than one binary being ran per-instance is if you're using switching line -pingboost or a high tickrate.

starting 9/24/2006 if your problem has been solved please edit your first post and add [solved] to the begining of the title. Thanks.

So this isn't normal? If I end one of them the server goes down..

And it's an Intel P4 3.0.

I am just concerned because each of them are taking up like 10% each of ram ..

Also is this a known bug? And are they all using x.x% per process or are they mirrored?

Running 97% idle atm
400mb ram free running 3 16 slot servers (100tic,66,33)
On a 100mbit line.

Still the server fps is below 50...

And I have all them fucking processes sitting there 3 per server to be exact.

Debian (The latest one??) I don't know how to check what version..

ummms Hyper threading cpu? if so is it switched off? your 100 tick would be draining alot of power. uname -a to check.

low fps can and mostly like cause from kernel version/kernel hertz they recommend 1000hz i reckon try from 250/500/750/1000 until you find your systems sweet pea

hz? kernal? wtf? I am new to linux and took me long enough to figure out how to run these servers, how do I get a faster kernel?

How do I check if it is HT enabled?

Should I turn it off?

HT can be turned off in bios and from posts im reading it is recommended for it to be off. as it gives spatics results. 2ndly type uname -a and past me the relpy normally the kernel hz is 250 default so try 500 if it seems better then you can go to 1000hz watch out for spikes etc etc i would google recompiling a kernel for info on how to do it. as do the kernel wrong and your system wont boot
